Canada's Emission Trends
This report presents projections of greenhouse gas emissions in Canada to the year 2020.
National Inventory Report, 1990-2012 - Greenhouse Gas Sources and Sinks in Canada
Canada is required on an annual basis to prepare and submit a national inventory of human induced greenhouse gas emissions from sources (e.g. fuel combustion, industrial processes) and removals by sinks (e.g. growing plants and trees) in the form of a National Inventory Report and a set of Common Reporting Format tables. See the National Inventory Report 1990-2012.
Reported Facility Greenhouse Gas Data
The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting Program (GHGRP) is Canada’s legislated, publicly accessible inventory of facility-reported greenhouse gas (GHG) data and information. See the overview of reported emissions for 2012.
Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators (CESI)
Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators (CESI) measure the progress of the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy, report to Canadians on the state of the environment, and describe Canada’s progress on key environmental sustainability issues. See the air and climate indicators for more information.
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
IPCC assessment reports report are available on IPCC’s Web site http://www.ipcc.ch/.
Canada in a Changing Climate: Sector Perspectives on Impacts and Adaptation
Canada in a Changing Climate: Sector Perspectives on Impacts and Adaptation is an update to the 2008 report From Impacts to Adaptation: Canada in a Changing Climate. The report assesses literature published since 2007 on climate change impacts, adaptation and vulnerability in Canada.
