Conference of the Parties 17
From November 28 to December 9, 2011 Canada will join more than 190 countries in South Africa, for the 17th session of the Conference of Parties (COP17) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Canada will be represented at COP17 by Environment Minister Peter Kent, along with Guy Saint-Jacques, Canada's Chief Negotiator and Ambassador for Climate Change.
